We are often asked how long does it take to implement ORI as our full service medical billing agent. Typically, it takes 30 days from the time of the signed contract to be up and running. If a clinic is starting on a completely new system, it may take up to 90 days. During the implementation of the new system, ORI works with the clinic to ensure everything goes smoothly. Central Procedural Terminology – 2019 Changes
One change of note affects Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM). This change has been in the works since January of 2018 when it was determined that CPT 99091 did not adequately describe how RPM services are being delivered in today’s world. Released in January, there are now three codes that better reflect technology driven patient monitoring.
